Pedestrian Killed in Phoenix Car Accident

In a perfect world, pedestrians would walk around the greater Phoenix area without their personal safety on their minds. Sadly, police in Phoenix have confirmed that a teenager lost his life earlier today in an accident that began between two cars. Authorities report that a collision involving two vehicles happened near the intersection of Central Avenue and Glendale in Phoenix and that as a result, one of those vehicles spun out of control and drove onto a portion of an adjacent sidewalk. The teenager reportedly was walking on the sidewalk at the time and the car struck the teen, causing irreparable damages and claiming the teen’s life.

Authorities have not confirmed what caused the initial impact in this case or whether either driver involved will be cited for improper conduct in the accident but they have confirmed that the force of the crash was substantial and caused at least one vehicle to roll onto its side.

In addition to the teenage victim, at least one other person was hurt in this crash.
