Car Crash in Gilbert Turns Fatal

Car accidents happen in an instant and often occur without warning. One moment a driver is traveling along a road or a highway in Phoenix and the next moment everything has changed because that driver was involved in a crash. Annually, more than 100,000 car accidents happen in the State of Arizona and the vast majority of those occur in highly populated, dense areas like the Valley of the Sun. There are hundreds of unique factors that lead to and contribute to Phoenix car accidents each year with thousands of different possible scenarios resulting. From single car accidents to massive pile-ups, no two accidents are identical and therefore it is important to understand how the laws affect your rights if you have been injured in a collision.

A Monday morning drive turned tragic for people in three separate vehicles on Monday morning when an accident occurred in Gilbert. Police in the area have confirmed that the three vehicles collided near the intersection of Power and Williams Field before 12:00 p.m. and that multiple people were hurt as a result.

At this time, the accident has one confirmed fatality and another serious injury though the full fallout from this crash has not yet been released. The man who died was pronounced while still at the scene and the other victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The investigation into this accident, including why the vehicles collided and whether anyone involved erred prior to the impact, is ongoing at this time.

If you drive or ride in a car in the Phoenix area, chances are that you have been involved in a car accident at some point or that you know someone who has. Many such collisions are minor and fortunately cause no injuries; however, some crashes do cause harm and leave victims in need of medical help and other relief. When this happens, the monetary damage caused by an accident can accumulate quickly and can leave a victim wondering how he or she will afford to get the care needed.

The laws in Phoenix enable these injury victims to obtain medical treatment they need while allowing them to pursue a financial recovery against a driver or other person who was responsible for the collision. Working with a personal injury attorney can help those who are suffering understand not only their rights but how to proceed to get the maximum relief possible following their accident.
